Agromechanical faculty

 

The agromechanical faculty as well as the University was founded in 1954. 

At the chairs of the faculty, students receive theoretical knowledge, study the newest technologies used in crop production and livestock, the design of agricultural machines and mobile energy equipment. A lot of attention in the learning process is paid to environmental problems of modern agricultural production. Students have the opportunity to carry out analytical studies, to engage in research work at the faculty chairs.

The main directions of scientific activities of the faculty's scientists are: improvement of the cultivation technology of agricultural crops; justification of technological modes of operation and parameters of agricultural machines; optimal design of resource-saving and environmentally friendly technologies and production processes; improvement and creation of existing new agricultural units, reduction of energy costs in agricultural production; formation of high general and professional culture of agroengineers.

During the educational process, students receive not only fundamental knowledge in the field of general professional, general technical, social and humanitarian disciplines, but also deeply study the issues of foreign economic activity of the state and the economy of organizations, organization of production, enterprise management and environmental safety issues, labor protection and foreign languages, information technologies, they also have the opportunity to get worker's professions: the driver of vehicles of “B” category, the tractor driver of agricultural production of “A”, “B”, “D” categories and a metal worker for the repair of agricultural machines and equipment. 

The faculty includes 6 chairs: 

  • Modeling and design chair;
  • Agricultural Machines chair;
  • Standardization, metrology and engineering graphics chair;
  • Technology and mechanization of livestock husbandry and agricultural products processing chair;
  • Tractors and automobiles chair;
  • Machine and tractor fleet operation and agricultural technologies chair.

Technical support of agricultural products

You will get the following skills:

  • Modern machine technologies and machine systems for the production and storage of crop and livestock products;
  • Innovative technologies, diagnostic and maintenance tools;
  • Methods for increasing the performance indicators of machinery and process equipment;
  • Carrying out mechanized work in crop production and livestock farming;
  • Effective use of machines and mechanisms using digital tools;
  • Management of technological processes and departments of agricultural enterprises;

Graduates are competent in planning, organizing and monitoring the use of agricultural machinery and technological equipment in the production, storage, transportation and primary processing of crop and livestock products.

Our specialists work in services for the operation of agricultural machinery, enterprises for the storage and processing of agricultural products, technical centers and machine testing stations.

Technical support for storage and processing of agricultural products

You will get the following skills:

  • Efficient use of material resources in production, storage and processing of agricultural products;
  • Organization of quality control of agricultural raw materials and processed products;
  • Development of operational plans, schedules for production and processing of agricultural products;
  • Determination of technical and economic efficiency of production, storage and processing of agricultural products;
  • Management of technological processes of storage and processing of crop and livestock products;
  • Installation, adjustment, maintenance and repair of technological equipment for processing crop and livestock products.

Graduates are competent in effective use of technological equipment for storing and processing agricultural products.

Our specialists work in workshops for storing and processing products of agricultural organizations, at dairies and meat processing plants, feed factories, and plants for processing crop products.

Agricultural machinery design and production

You will get the following skills:

  • Carrying out calculations, computer analysis and process simulation;
  • Improving the performance of technical equipment using computer-aided design systems (CAD/CAE/CAM);
  • Carrying out design work in creating agricultural machinery and equipment;
  • Implementation of technological preparation of production;
  • Organization and management of production activities of enterprises in the mechanical engineering industry;
  • Ensuring operation and repair
  • agricultural machinery and equipment.

Graduates are competent in design, creation, maintenance, repair of machinery and equipment in the agro-industrial complex, service support of agricultural machinery, design and manufacture of parts, management of logistics processes for maintenance service enterprises.

Our specialists work in agricultural machinery operation services, agricultural engineering enterprises, technical centers and machine testing stations, dealership centers of manufacturing plants, specialized technical and logistics centers.
